Friday saw the release of Saiyaara, the film that marks Ahaan Panday's debut alongside Aneet Padda. Saiyara, which is directed by Mohit Suri, gives a glimpse into a passionate romance between the on-screen pair as they experience a rollercoaster of emotions, including joy, desire, love, sadness, and heartbreak.

The teaser for the movie, which Yash Raj Films described as "An intense love story that will break your heart and heal it too," was released on their social media sites on Friday. Saiyaara marks Ahaan Panday's debut as a new hero in the film business, with Aneet Padda, who starred in Big Girls Don't Cry, as the female protagonist.

Fans' reactions

As soon as the movie's teaser was released, fans were thrilled. "AHAANIE! It's finally happening :)," said actress Tara Sutaria in anticipation of Ahaan's acting debut. So pleased with you. In the trailer, you two are simply fantastic! The actor Abhay Varma, who is known for his role in Munjya, expressed his support for Aneet by saying, "I can't explain how happy I am, Aneet" (red heart emoji).

In another remark, it was stated that "@ananyapanday's brother on screen is literally giving goosebumps." "Mohit Suri is back and how!" exclaimed a third remark, which was thrilled that Mohit Suri had returned as the film's director.

Saiyara has also been contrasted by some fans to Mohit's prior works, such as Malang and Aashiqui 2. "Aashiqui 3 looks very different from what I imagined," one user jokingly remarked. Another said, "Mohit Suri ne Malang aur Aashiqi 2 ko mila ne ek nayi movie banai hai (Mohit Suri has made a new film after mixing Malang and Aashiqui 2)."

Concerning Saiyaara

The film's title was described by its producers, who also offered a peek into the possible storyline. Saiyara is sometimes used in poetry to refer to someone who is alluring and otherworldly—a wandering star—who is always guiding but always out of reach, according to them. Saiyara means a wandering celestial body, they said. YRF's CEO Akshaye Widhani has produced the film, which is directed by Mohit Suri. Saiyaara is scheduled to debut in theaters across the world on July 18, 2025.
