What happened to ACP Pradyuman in CID 2?

Later, though, it was revealed that ACP Pradyuman wasn't really dead and that the role would be returning. Parth Samthaan played the role of ACP Ayushman in Pradyuman's absence. However, he just announced that he will leave the program.
