After that, Parth Samthaan portrayed ACP Ayushman, who joined the cast. However, Parth just announced that he will be leaving the program now that ACP Pradyuman is back. The producers have released a new advertisement for CID 2, which features ACP Pradyuman sitting in his office as he did in the past.

A fresh promotional video for CID 2 was released by Sony Entertainment Television on May 29. In the video, Shivaji Satam, portraying ACP Pradyuman, reenters his investigative office in style. With his famous posture, he can be seen gazing at the CID symbol on the wall. He prepares to investigate with his squad by sitting in the chair, donning sunglasses, and sipping his coffee.

Fans react to CID 2's new advertisement

Upon exiting CID 2, Parth Samthaan

As ACP Ayushman, Parth told Pinkvilla that he will quit CID 2. "It’s been an absolute delight to be a part of a cult show like CID, even if it's only for a short time," the actor remarked. "I was only on board for a few episodes, a guest appearance, but later got extended for a couple of months."

Parth added that he will be finishing soon because he has additional job commitments. However, I appreciate the audience's love and support during my short tenure.
