In less than two months after leaving CID, actor Shivaji Satam's legendary ACP Pradyuman character has made a comeback. Netflix India posted a teaser for a future episode on Instagram on Saturday. But ACP Pradyuman appeared to have forgotten everything.

Pradyuman returns to CID from ACP

At the start of the video, ACP Pradyuman pointed a rifle at an astonished Daya (Dayanand Shetty). When Daya realized that he was his boss, he attempted to strike up a conversation with him, but the ACP threatened to shoot him. When Daya attempted to remind ACP Pradyuman that they worked together, he retorted in Hindi, "CID? So you are a cop? I've to settle an old score with the police," and then kept firing at Daya.

Inspector Abhijeet (Aditya Srivastava) learns from an emotional Daya in the following video that ACP Pradyuman is still alive. "Iska matlab samjhe Daya? Fans hail ‘GOAT ACP Pradyuman’

In response to the piece, a fan commented, "ACP Pradyuman, the legend is back. Good news." "CID, the cult show," stated one comment. "ACP Pradyuman sir is finally back!!!!!," someone wrote. "Yayyyyyy!" One Instagram user posted, "CID trying to remake Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in Hindi with ACP as Phil Coulson." Another fan said, "GOAT is back, now CID is CID, without him, it's nothing."

After leaving CID, ACP Pradyuman

In a recent statement, Parth Samthaan announced that he is taking over for ACP Pradyuman in the series. As ACP Ayushmann, he had joined CID. Times of India had stated in April, quoting a source close to the production company, "ACP Pradyuman is an iconic character and it can never die. In a few weeks, Shivaji Satam will be back on the show."

The CID squad made an attempt to apprehend the criminal Barboza (Tigmanshu Dhulia) in an episode broadcast in April. But he set a bomb that appeared to have killed the ACP, but the explosion was not seen on film. His passing was confirmed by Sony TV in a social media update.

Concerning CID

The famous TV series returned earlier this year. In addition to Sony Entertainment and Sony Liv, Netflix is now broadcasting CID. New episodes may be seen by the audience every Saturday and Sunday at 10 p.m. After a six-year hiatus, CID has returned. In October 2018, the popular show CID ended its 20-year run.
