Actor Vijay's upcoming film GOAT- Greatest of All Time is easily one of the most spoken about and written about films. With the makers announcing that the film will hit be released in theatres on September 5, fans of Vijay cannot keep calm and want more updates about the film. To answer them, the makers hinted that the first single from GOAT would be out soon.

GOAT first single

On Saturday, the makers released a poster teasing fans about the first single from the film. It is expected that the song will be released on Sunday (April 14) on the occasion of the Tamil New Year. A colourful poster with the words 'GOAT's first single! Are you ready?' has been released. The makers remain guarded about the title of the song. The film has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

GOAT’s album is rumoured to consist of four songs along with several short theme songs for all the major characters. As per speculations, Yuvan has scored a signature theme song for Vijay’s role, which is along the lines of the iconic Mankatha theme.

Written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, marking his first collaboration with Vijay, GOAT is the actor’s 68th film as the lead. It is bankrolled by the AGS Entertainment production banner. The filmmaker has been tight-lipped about GOAT, which is said to be an action-based sci-fi flick.

About Goat

GOAT also stars actors Prashanth, Prabhudeva, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Ajmal Ameer, among others. Venkat Prabhu is also expected to make a cameo appearance in the film. Reports state that the director will be playing a fan of the Chennai Super Kings.

It is to be noted that GOAT will be Vijay's first release after he announced his political entry and floated his own party. While the actor hinted at taking up a full-time political journey, GOAT is expected to bring scores of the actor's fans to theatres. He is expected to be seen in two avatars in the movie—a young man and an older one.
