The release date of the paranormal suspense film Nikita Roy, starring Sonakshi Sinha, has been pushed back till the day before it was due to be shown. The movie was originally scheduled for release on June 27, 2025, but it will now be released in theaters on July 18, 2025.

According to the producers, the movie will now be seen on more screens, the release schedule will be less congested, and the picture will have better access to screens and exposure. In a formal announcement, the producers explained their choice:

Hi, everyone! We are now in the middle of a battle for screens and several releases. In order to reach a larger audience, we have collectively chosen to postpone our release until July 18th, based on guidance from our well-wishers in the fraternity, distributors, and exhibitors. We appreciate your great affection for the film thus far, but you'll have to wait a bit longer, and we can assure you that July 18th will be worth the wait! In the theaters, see you!
