Earlier, the movie that Malayalam star Anoop Menon made with megastar Mohanlal generated some excitement, but the initiative has been on hold for some time. In order to give the project more time, Anoop Menon has now verified that his directorial endeavor has not been cancelled and that it will now only occur next year. The picture starring Mohanlal and Anoop Menon won't be released until next year.

With Mohanlal as the star, Anoop Menon is scheduled to direct a Malayalam film. In a recent interview with the YouTube channel Movie World Media, Anoop Menon confirmed that the movie hasn't been canceled and explained why it won't be released until 2026.

"The event will only occur next year. First, the production has altered. Secondly, a main sequence of the film must be filmed during the Kolkata Durga Puja. This will only be possible the following year," stated Anoop Menon.

Calling it a hoax, he went on to say that they are organizing a 20-day festival shoot. Additionally, he stated that the delay was caused by his desire to shoot the action sequence realistically. He also added that the movie is a large production with three fight scenes and five songs. Lalettan advised us to take our time since the script work is moving along, he said.

The movie had generated a lot of buzz when Mohanlal revealed it on Facebook. The film, which is still unnamed, has also recruited Hesham Abdul Wahab, who gained notoriety with Pranav Mohanlal's Hridayam.

Thudarum, Mohanlal's most recent film

Thudarum, in which Mohanlal last appeared, turned out to be a huge hit at the box office. The story of Benz Shanmughan, who pursues the policeman George Sir in retaliation for the injury of a loved one, is told in the movie. Renowned director Tharun Moorthy's well-known movie is currently available for streaming on JioHotstar.

Hridayapoorvam, which will be released for Onam 2025, will feature Sathyan Anthikad and Mohanlal. Additionally, he is a member of the cast of Dileep's Bha Bha Ba.
