The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Janaki v/s State of Kerala (J.S.K), released a motion poster today (May 28). It has also been confirmed that the movie will be having a theatrical release on June 20.

Suresh Gopi plays the role of a lawyer in this film, which is expected to be a courtroom drama. In the poster's introduction, the actor states that our legal system specifies in great detail each citizen's basic rights. But in fact, not a single person in the entire nation possesses a copy of it. Because the moment they do, people will start to doubt those in authority here. The only recourse for people if their rights are violated will be the courts, and they will learn about those rights," he says.

Which parties are supporting J.S.K in the Janaki v/s State of Kerala case?

The movie's initial poster was unveiled two days after Suresh Gopi, a former actor who turned into a politician, made headlines by winning the 2024 Lok Sabha election in Thrissur. Paappan, Mei Hoom Moosa, and other of the actor's most recent films are available for streaming on ZEE5. Furthermore, before the end of this year, the Apothecary star is scheduled to appear in a number of forthcoming films, including Ottakkomban.

Among the film's supporting cast are Vaishnavi Raj, Aparna, Ratheesh Krishnan, Jai Vishnu, Shafir Khan, Jose Chengannur, Yadu Krishnan, Rajat Menon, Abhishek Ravindran, Kottayam Ramesh, and Manjushree, along with Madhav Suresh, Askar Ali, Baiju Santhosh, Jayan Cherthala, Nisthar Seth, Shobi Thilakan, and Dilip Menon. Raafi Mathirra and J Phanindra Kumar are funding J.S.K. under the auspices of Cosmos Entertainments and Karthik Kreations, and Pravin Narayanan is in charge of it. The director has also written the movie's screenplay. Gireesh Narayanan created the film's soundtrack.
