Gaami was one of the most anticipated films on OTT, as the fantasy drama was a grand success in theatres. The suspense thriller, directed by Vidhyadhar Kagita and starring Vishwak Sen, is now streaming on Zee 5 and has crossed over 60 million streaming minutes already. 

Gaami is a smash hit on Zee5

Well, the latest update is that Gaami is now trending in second place on the Top 10 list on Zee 5. This is something unusual for a Telugu film and shows what kind of an impact Gaami has created on OTT. The film is a smash hit on OTT and is garnering solid traction from the audience with each passing day.

Gaami nears the 100 million streaming minutes

The other day, we had already reported that the climax twist in the film is being talked about a lot on social media. Vishwak Sen is back in demand after the success of Gaami and he has also hiked his fee considerably. Gaami has been a blessing in disguise for heroine Chandini Chowdary, as she was struggling for offers in Telugu cinema.

One of the sources close to Zee 5 says that in just a few days from now, Gaami will clock 100 million streaming minutes. Gaami was made on a budget of Rs 2 crore and collected close to Rs 13 crore at the box office. The makers also managed to clock a lucrative deal with Zee 5 for the OTT rights to the film.

Vishwak Sen played the role of an Aghora with touch-based sensitive issues, and this is showcased superbly in Gaami. Abdul Samad and Tejaswini also played key roles. The grand visuals in the film have become a talking point ever since the film started streaming on OTT. On the other hand, Vishwak Sen is ready with his new film, Gangs of Godavari, which will be out on May 17, 2024.
