Here’s the 'massive' update that Dhanush fans have been eagerly waiting for! The makers of the actor’s upcoming film Kubera have just dropped an exciting update from the film. Taking it to their social media handles, the makers wrote, “SEIZED & LOADED for a MASSIVE thunderbolt SEKHAR KAMMULA’S #KUBERA will be shaking up the HEATWAVE ERUPTION on May 2nd (sic)”.  

Kubera teaser to be out soon?

After this social media update, it is widely speculated that the teaser or the first glimpse of the film will be revealed on May 2. Although the makers dropped the date of the new announcement, fans are not sure what the announcement could be. Nevertheless, fans can't be more excited to get a glimpse of the film which can be expected soon! 

Teaser release linked to the leaked pics?

Earlier, a video featuring Dhanush and female lead Rashmika Mandanna had surfaced on social media pages. The actor was seen donning blazers, while Rashmika was seen in a salwar suit. The video seems to have been taken from a night schedule and the leading stars were seen with the technicians. The leaked video generated a lot of traction on social media platforms. It is safe to assume that the makers have decided to drop the teaser to give fans a proper glimpse of the film.  

Kubera plot

Helmed by Sekhar Kammula, the upcoming Dhanush-starrer features an ensemble cast of Nagarjuna, and Jim Sarbh, with the latter making his Tamil film debut. From the earlier released first-look poster, it is assumed that the film centres around Dhanush’s character who once was a homeless man but eventually became a powerful mafia leader. On the other hand, Nagarjuna is said to be playing the antagonist role of a gangster from Mumbai.  

Popular music composer Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the original music for the film. Kubera will be a bilingual film, shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. The release date is also expected to be announced on May 2.
