Given the circumstances, Kamal Haasan himself stated that they will be delaying the publication of Thug Life on June 5 for a week. The decision to not release in Karnataka on June 5 means, according to reports and some sources, that the producers will suffer a loss of between Rs 10 and 15 crore.
