After an 18-year wait, Virat Kohli's RCB side ultimately won the IPL 2025 championship on June 3, making it a day to remember. After 18 years, the wait is now over as RCB takes home the IPL 2025 trophy. The moment RCB defeated Punjab Kings in the championship game, Virat Kohli, who has been with the club since the beginning, collapsed to the ground in tears of delight.
“To the man who’s given everything to the sport... this was long due! Virat Kohli,” Vicky Kaushal posted on Instagram Story shortly after RCB won.

Virat Kohli was referred to as a "one club player" by Ranveer Singh. He also included a crown emoji, ostensibly as a reference to the cricketer's moniker, "King Kohli."

Following the long-awaited IPL triumph for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Siddharth Mallya, the son of former RCB owner Vijay Mallya, also wept. On his Instagram account, he posted a video of himself saying, "Eighteen long, long years... I don't even know what to say."
In addition to them, Allu Arjun posted a picture of the victory moment and said, "THE WAIT IS OVER." "Ee sala cup namde!" [This year, the cup is ours!] Finally! We've been anticipating this day for 18 years. "A huge, huge congratulations to RCB!"
