On his 40th birthday, Ranveer Singh shared the first glimpse of his upcoming movie, Dhurandhar. He has an intense avatar in the video, and his followers are obsessed with him.

The first look video of the movie was posted by Ranveer on his Instagram account on Sunday afternoon. "An Inferno will rise (fire emoji). The caption stated, "Uncover the real tale of The Unknown Men."

As the video starts, Ranveer is seen strolling through a gloomy, dimly lit corridor while a voiceover foretells chaos. Then, as he lights a cigarette, a close-up shot displays his bloodied face, complete with a thick beard and long hair. In the video, Ranveer's persona is seen kicking butt in some hard-hitting heavy-duty action. Additionally, Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna are shown in action-packed roles.

The video and Ranveer's powerful initial glimpse elicited a positive response from the audience. "At last, Raveer Singh ka comeback ab hoga (Now it will be his comeback)," one YouTube user said. "This is fire," one said. The movie's tone also thrilled many other fans.

The film's December 5 release date is also confirmed by the video, which means it will be competing against Prabhas' The RajaSaab.

All about Dhurandhar

The day before the first glimpse was released, Ranveer had archived all of his Instagram postings and even taken down his profile picture. The actor shared a mysterious Instagram Story with the date 12:12. The day following his birthday, at 12:12 PM, he posted the first look video.

The film Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and a cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal, is directed by Aditya Dhar. The filmmakers have remained silent about the possibility that the movie is based on the life of Ajit Doval, the former National Security Advisor and Indian super spy. The fact that the movie is, in fact, based on actual events is only corroborated by the first-look footage.
