The actor couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have finished their new mansion in Bandra, Mumbai, since October of last year, but it seems that the final details are now almost complete. The residence exhibits far more flair than last year, with foliage growing on every level. But the internet community saw one crucial element of the home was still absent.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's house is nearing completion

In an Instagram post with a video of Ranbir and Alia's new house, a paparazzo said, "New beginnings in a dream home! At last, the love nest of Alia & Ranbir is complete." The house appears a bit more finished than in the previous year's footage, with the addition of plants and a fence to safeguard the family's seclusion. The house is also more refined than it was the previous time, with the exception of the front gate, which is still being installed.

The fact that the house was 'finally ready' but the gate was still not installed was seen by many as humorous, and they made jokes about it. "Itna kharcha ho gaya ki naya gate banane k paise hi nai bache (It cost them so much they decided it doesn't need a new gate)," one person said. One person even commented, "Ranbir be like main gate nahi banwaunga (Ranbir be like, I won't get a new main gate)," while another quipped, "Gate itna sasta kyu banaya Patre ka? (Why is the gate made of flatboard?)". “main gate ko alag se fund jaari hoga??” asked one Instagram user. (Is the main gate funded separately?)

For a few years, Ranbir and Alia's home has been being built. With their daughter Raha Kapoor, or Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor, the couple has frequently been seen touring the location while it was being built. They are now residing in Pali Hill.

In Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 2023 blockbuster Animal, Ranbir's last appearance was as the brutal, revenge-seeking Ranvijay Singh. Alia was last seen in Vasan Bala's 2024 film Jigra, which received little critical acclaim. Soon, with Vicky Kaushal as their co-star, they will appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War. Alia will also be featured in Alpha, while Ranbir will appear in Ramayana.
