Rumors had circulated that Raj & DK's forthcoming fantasy series, Rakt Bramhand – The Bloody Kingdom, would be canceled. The Netflix series, which features Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Aditya Roy Kapur, has been in production for several months. The producers addressed the rumor of cancellation and stated that the show is still on on Monday.

Raj & DK commented on the development of the program, saying, "This is an ambitious epic project unfolding over multiple schedules." We have completed the majority of our indoor talkie schedule and are now getting ready for the next big schedule, which will be mostly action-oriented and outside.

According to accounts, financial fraud occurred throughout the series' production, and as a result, the show was shelved. Following the halt of manufacturing, the rumors grew. The creative pair, however, claims they are just waiting for ideal weather for the outdoor action scenario they have in mind. "The strategy is to wait for the rain to stop before starting filming during a favorable window." We also require rich greens for this historical work. Thus, as they put it, "we are getting ready for the next major action schedule."

Aditya Roy Kapur, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi are the cast members of Rakt Bramhand. The series combines massive action with an edge-of-the-seat narrative and is set in a fictitious realm. Its tentative release on Netflix is scheduled for sometime in 2026.

The cancellation of the Gulakanda Tales and Rakt Brahmand reports

In February of this year, in a cryptic Instagram message, Raj & DK addressed the financial fraud as well as claims that their shows, Rakt Brahmand and Gulakanda Tales, were being cancelled. We simply felt it was necessary to pause and reiterate this! They had written back at the time, stressing that no programs had been canceled, "Next up: Rakt Brahmand on Netflix; and Gulkanda Tales and The Family Man 3 on Prime." However, the rumors persisted. Once more, the filmmakers appear to have refuted those rumors.
