Priyanka Kumar, a model-turned-actress, is anticipating the premiere of her third Kannada film, Doora Theera Yaana, which was directed by Mansore, a National Award winner. The film will be released on July 11, 2025. The title track was released prior to the romantic drama's premiere, and during its sidelines, the actress addressed the press about her experiences in filmmaking and acquiring Mansore's latest endeavor, among other topics.

Despite being two movies old—Bad Manners and Rudra Garuda Purana—Priyanka's social media profiles make no mention of either. Did she deliberately get rid of everything in order to have a fresh start with a blank slate? "No, there is no such purpose." I'm not attempting to conceal my previous social media work. The information is available to anyone who conducts an internet search. Priyanka tells FDFS Kannada, "I wanted my Instagram page to be a gallery of my pictures for prospective film teams to see how I look."

As for Doora Theera Yaana, which, Mansore describes as a story about love and not a love story, Priyanka admits that when she was approached for the role, she had not seen most of his earlier works, except Act 1978. Of course, since then she has caught up with the rest, but when she got the call, she assumed it would be for a serious, socially-relevant, Mansore kind of film.

When she then met him for the script narration, Priyanka says that she was pleasantly surprised when he told her he was working on a love subject, which was new for him too. “And then, when I heard the story, it as even more surprising. It is not like any routine love story we’ve seen in commercial films. It’s a very sensible and mature approach to a relationship and I believe that it will be highly relatable to audiences. There’s a beautiful message in this film,” she adds.
