Led by director Maruthi, the film represents a genre change for Prabhas, who is renowned for his intense and action-packed performances. This time, he'll be appearing in a horror comedy. In a tale about a haunted house, Prabhas allegedly performs two roles. Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar also play important parts in the movie. The Raja Saab is scheduled to be released theatrically on December 5.

Prabhas' future endeavors

Before The Raja Saab, fans will see him in a unique cameo in the mythological fantasy movie Kannappa, which stars Vishnu Manchu and is set to be released on June 27. He will also reprise his role in Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvum, a follow-up to the successful Salaar, which was directed by Prashanth Neel and is scheduled for release in 2026.

Another eagerly awaited endeavor is Spirit, an action thriller directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also directed Animal. Prabhas will play a strong police officer in the film, which is scheduled to premiere in late 2026. He will also reprise his character in the sequel to Nag Ashwin's science fiction masterwork, Kalki 2898 AD Part 2, which will also be released in 2026.
