More than two years have passed since the actor duo Darling Krishna and Milana Nagaraj revealed their intention to produce a third installment of their Love Mocktail series. However, the statement was met with a great deal of criticism, particularly since Krishna said that he had finished the story arc of his character Adi in the movie, shortly after the publication of the second installment. Krishna and Milana are moving forward with their plans to create Love Mocktail 3, for which they are holding auditions for a role that will be played by a girl between the ages of 5 and 8, despite the lack of support from online users.

Netizens not gung-ho about Love Mocktail 3

Once again, Krishna and Milana received a flood of messages urging them not to extend an already overextended concept. Among the popular comments were "Please do something new," "Grinding the same ingredients and making old batter," and "Don't spoil success with sequels; leave it as it is to remain in hearts." In fact, many other online users made casting recommendations for the duo's role.

Interestingly, whenever netizens have pressed Krishna and Milana to reconsider their choice of making another picture in the franchise, they have blocked the majority of these social media users, opting to concentrate only on those who back another film.

Krishna's debut directorial effort, which he co-produced with Milana, was the love mocktail. It was intended as Krishna's effort to advance his career at the time, which it did. The movie depicted Adi's romantic connections at three periods in his life and ended sadly with him losing his soulmate, Nidhi (Milana), to cancer. The question of whether time truly heals and whether Adi might go on with her life was the subject of the sequel.

Sihi (Rachel David) was presented as a possible love interest in Love Mocktail 2, but it turned out that Adi's heart was exclusively focused on Nidhi. With the majority of the plot centered around Adi's talks with Nidhi, the movie attempted to tackle sorrow and mental health, albeit superficially. It turns out that he was hallucinating about her and not taking his meds.

The film chose to romanticize this aspect, and if that wasn't enough, it concluded with Adi adopting a little girl, even if he was still dating and speaking to Nidhi. The subject of Love Mocktail 3 will probably be Adi's life with the new Nidhi.
