Kajol, a well-known Bollywood actress renowned for her straightforward wit and timeless beauty, just gave a lighthearted but insightful perspective on what makes a marriage successful. The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress shared her own trick for keeping a happy relationship with her husband, Ajay Devgn, in a recent interview.

The key to Kajol's joyful marriage is revealed

The actor discussed the fascinating relationship with her husband Ajay, who prefers to speak less, and Kajol, who enjoys talking, in an interview with Mashable India. When asked about the strategy for managing a relationship between two different personalities, Kajol responded, "Oh, I say that quite often that the secret to a happy marriage is partial deafness and selective amnesia."

"Kuch cheezein bhoolni bohot zaruri hai, aur kuch cheezein na sunni bohot zaruri hai (It's very important to forget certain things, and equally important not to hear some things)," Kajol said with a laugh.

Additionally, Kajol revealed Ajay's culinary prowess in the same interview. According to the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaenge actor, Ajay is one of the greatest cooks she has ever known. "Unki khaasiyat hai, vo kisi bhi cheez ko ek baar taste karte hai, he would know how to make it exactly the same. He would never reveal the secret components of his recipes to you. (His special talent is that he can figure out how to prepare a meal after only trying it once.)

The connection between Ajay and Kajol

Ajay and Kajol have been married for more than 20 years. In 1995, the pair first met on the set of their movie, Hulchul. In 1999, they got married after nearly four years of dating. They have raised two kids, Nysa, born in 2003, and Yug, born in 2010, while maintaining a successful film career and family life throughout the years. The pair has also captivated their audience on television by working together on nine films, including Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, Ishq, Dil Kya Kare, Raju Chacha, and U, Me Aur Hum, to mention a few.
