Parambrata Chattopadhyay, the actor who has starred in Bengali movies as well as Hindi films like Kahaani and Bulbbul, is now a father. In a collaborative post with his wife Piya Chakraborty, the actor used his Instagram account on Monday to announce the happy news.

Baby boy is born in Parambrata

The article included a photo with the caption, "It's a baby boy! Our hearts are full. Our hands will be fuller! Welcome to the world, Junior!" In the caption, Parambrata and Piya wrote: "As we welcome our first child into this world, we wish to thank each and everyone for their warm wishes and prayers! (red heart emoticon)"

Huma Qureshi congratulated the couple

Numerous performers replied to the article and sent the pair their best wishes in the comments section. "Congratulations ❤️❤️ sending love and more love," said actor Huma Qureshi in the comments. Raima Sen, Sandipta Sen, Monami Ghosh, Anindita Bose, and singer Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury were among the actors who sent their best wishes to the happy couple.

Piya and Parambrata were married in November 2023. The performer had posted a number of images from their intimate wedding ceremony. Parambrata uploaded the images with the caption, "This is it. @piya_chakraborty. 'Let us go then, you and I, When the evening is spread out against the sky…'"

Parambrata's Bollywood debut was in Kahaani (2012), which starred Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Some of his other notable works include Bhalo Theko, Baishe Srabon, Sold, Kadambari, Anukul, Dosar, Pari, Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi, Dwitiyo Purush, Bulbbul, and Doctor Bakshi.

His most recent professional role was with Koel Mullick in the Bengali movie Sonar Kellay Jawker Dha. Sayantan Ghosal is the director of the film, and Surinder Films is the producer.
