Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday are now in Croatia for an extended international filming of the romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. The film's production started last month in the European country under the direction of Sameer Vidwans, and it's expected to last for the next two weeks.

According to a production source speaking with Mid Day, the team has been filming at several sites throughout Croatia, including Vis. Despite being warned not to, a few individuals on the island continued to snap photos of Kartik and Ananya, which somewhat added to the complexity of the shoot. The production team has been instructed by someone to ensure that no footage from the shoot ever appears online.

The Croatian agenda will include song shoots and outdoor settings. A behind-the-scenes video from the set shows Kartik arriving to a roadside café while Ananya is hanging out with a buddy. The team is now implementing tighter measures to avoid further leaks.

The second collaboration

This movie marks Vidwans and Kartik's second collaboration; they had previously collaborated on Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023). Prior to joining the cast, Ananya finished filming Chand Mera Dil, and Kartik and Anurag Basu finished filming a large portion of their unnamed movie. After Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri is the second time that Kartik and Ananya have collaborated.

Karan Shrikant Sharma wrote and produced the film under his production company, Dharma Productions, in Karan Johar. The movie was produced by Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Bhumika Tewari, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. The movie will be released in theaters on February 13, 2026, just in time for the Valentine's Day weekend.

The team will return to Mumbai to finish the remaining pieces after finishing filming in Croatia in mid-June. These will often be scenes that arouse intense feelings. The manufacturers anticipate that production will be completed by the end of July.

Kartik disclosed the film's new style in a recent social media post, moving away from the rough outside of his prior works. Among his upcoming ventures are an untitled film by Anurag Basu and the August 2026 animal comedy Naagzilla.
