Amitabh Bachchan’s Cyber Fraud Caller Tune Removed, Internet Rejoices Like Never Before
5 months ago | 5 Views
Recent news suggests that Thursday will be the final time Amitabh Bachchan issues us warnings about cyber fraud, much to the relief of the public. For weeks, every time someone would make a call, a recorded message in Amitabh's voice would play before the call could be established. The internet is rejoicing as that is being put to a halt starting today.
The celebration starts as the campaign comes to a conclusion
"The caller tune will be removed from today since the campaign has come to an end," a source was quoted as saying in an NDTV report.
People praised the government for bringing the 'torture' to an end as soon as the news went live. "Itni khushi aaj tak ni mili jitni is news se mili h (no news has ever made me happier)," one individual wrote.
"Bahut achha hua (A great thing)," said one. "God bless was so irritated with it," a relieved person wrote. “This nation owes a huge debt to those who made that happen,” quipped someone else. "Thank god . . . that was a big torture," said someone else.
The caller tone made fans angry
Even Amitabh Bachchan tweeted a response to someone who was bothered by the caller tune recently. A social media user slammed the cybercrime awareness call tone that included his voice on Monday. Big B responded in kind to that tweet, which did not go unnoticed.
The seasoned actor uploaded an arbitrary post that said, "Ji haan huzoor, main bhi ek prashansak hoon. Toh?? (Yes, sir, I am also a fan. So?)". One online user responded to the post with the words, "Toh phone pe bolna band kro bhay (So stop saying it on the phone)."
"Sarkar ko bolo bhai, unhone jo kaha humne kar diya (Tell the government, I did what they told me to do)," Amitabh Bachchan replied.
In 'Vettaiyan', which was released in theaters last year, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen with the legendary Rajinikanth. Big B also starred alongside Rana Daggubati and Fahadh Faasil in the movie.
Among his upcoming works is the remake of The Intern, starring Deepika Padukone.
