The role of Rang De Basanti is rumored to be clarified by Manoj

Following one of the film's writers, Kamlesh Pandey, saying in a chat with Ravya Sarda for her YouTube program that Manoj was the first option over Aamir, the discussion about this topic picked up steam.

In a post on X, previously known as Twitter, Manoj responded to the excitement on Thursday. Manoj shared the link to one such piece with the caption, "Matlab kuch bhi (whatever) (laughing emoji)."

He also stated, "And who is the producer who said this? Name to bata!!" in another tweet. SM is sitting with such empty hands (Please share the name. Why are you so inactive on social media)?

"We had been wandering around with the movie script for six years, and no one was willing to produce that picture," Kamlesh stated in the interview. Manoj was the one we ultimately cast in the role that Aamir played. We had a limited budget and intended to produce a little movie. Aamir informed us he wanted to make the movie as soon as he heard the script, and he even convinced AR Rahman to join the production. UTV, who had turned down the film twice before, agreed right away.

Rang De Basanti, which was released in 2006, centers on a gang of carefree pals who become revolutionary and use extreme means to confront the Indian government in order to highlight the issue of corruption.

Manoj's following endeavor

Manoj will soon return to his work schedule with the third season of Family Man. He will be returning to the character of Srikant Tiwari. Earlier this week, the producers released an official statement regarding the upcoming season.

With a new Instagram post on Tuesday, Prime Video officially announced the third season. The producers posted the season 3 poster along with the statement, "All eyes on our family men #TheFamilyManOnPrime, New Season, Coming Soon." The cast members, including Manoj, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, and directors Raj & DK, were tagged in the joint post.

Gul Panag, who starred in season 1, is scheduled to return to the program, along with Tamil actor Sundeep Kishan, Jugal Hansraj, Shreya Dhanwantary, Darshan Kumar, Dalip Tahil, Seema Biswas, Vipin Kumar Sharma, and Harman Singha. The Family Man season 3's debut date is still unknown.
