The death of her close friend and fellow actor Vibhu Raghave, who passed away on Monday from colon cancer, is something that actress Addite Malik is finding difficult to accept. She wrote a moving goodbye letter to her friend, saying that she believes he is now at peace as well.

Emotional homage by Addite pens

Following Vibhu's passing, Addite published a moving piece on Instagram. She posted a picture of Vibhu grinning with him and his mother. Additionally, she uploaded a video from his prayer meeting. For more than two years, Vibhu had been battling the illness, and he frequently shared his experiences through the excruciating therapy on social media.

"I don't know why I can't write," Addite shared with the pictures. You are gone from us, and that is the reality. And yet, you are now at peace, and that is also the truth. I can't help but weep whenever I attempt to write.

But what I really recall is that holy grin on your face as you departed from us. As if you spoke everything up until your final breath. Keep moving, friends; the rest will take care of itself. (Please be happy and take a break; everything will fall into place). You will never be someone else. She said, "You were light, you were laughter."

"We'll carry you in stories, in silence, in songs...Until we meet again on the other side of the realm," Addite said at the end of her blog article.

The defeat was also lamented in the comments section by actresses Juhi Parmar, Bharti Singh, and Nilu Koli. Ribhu will be missed for the kind of individual he was. Divyanka Tripathi said, "May he be at peace now."

No more Vibhu Raghave

On June 2, Vibhu succumbed to a protracted struggle against cancer. Tuesday afternoon, he was cremated. Family members, close friends, and members of the TV industry were all present at his funeral. At the cremation ceremony, actors like Nakuul Mehta, Mohitt Maalik, Chaitanya Chaudhary, Anjali Anand, and Addite Malik were seen paying their last respects to Vibhu. At the last rites, Mohitt and Addite seemed inconsolable.

In 2022, Vibhu, whose real name was Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghave, received a colon cancer diagnosis. He used Instagram to post updates about his treatment. Additionally, Addite was backing a crowdfunding effort to get him money.

"It came as a shock to all of us and him when he was diagnosed with cancer," Addite told the Hindustan Times in an earlier interview. It took him a month to figure out what was going on. Since then, he has been actively researching the condition and battling it hard in his desire to recover. We don't want him to worry about the financial aspects of the battle, even though we know he will. For this reason, his pals chose to support him and launch the fundraising effort for him."
