6 months ago | 5 Views
The prayer meeting in Mumbai on Tuesday evening for the late director Rono Mukherjee was attended by a number of people, including Kajol, Jaya Bachchan, and her daughter Shweta Bachchan. The paparazzi were there, taking photos and videos of the celebrities. Videos showing an upset Jaya Bachchan urging them to join her in the automobile began to surface on social media channels.
At Rono Mukherjee's prayer gathering, Jaya Bachchan teaches paparazzi a lesson
The paparazzi surrounded Jaya as she descended the stairs with Rono's son, Samrat Mukherjee. "Eder kano daako (Why do you ask them to come)?" she questioned Samrat in Bengali, appearing to be annoyed. "Aami daakini (I didn't call them)," he answered.
Jaya and Shweta waited for their vehicle in a different video. The paparazzi were told by Jaya, "Chaliye aap log bhi saath mein," just before she was about to depart. Then, softly, she added, "Bakwas sab, gande gande se sab (Nonsense)," and "Aajaiyye (Come with us. Do come)."
Regarding the conditions of Jaya's paparazzi
Jaya has taught the paparazzi before. She has seen them being scolded on a few occasions. Jaya went to Hema Malini's birthday celebration in 2023. She had said, "Avi aap log itna direction mat dijiye (now don't give me so much direction for photos)," as the photographers kept telling her where to look. When Jaya and Tina Ambani were photographed together at the premiere of The Archies, Jaya had begged the media not to yell.
In Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, Jaya's last appearance was as a strong family matriarch. Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi were also in it.
Regarding the late Rono Mukherjee
Rono's films, such as Haiwan (1977) and Tu Hi Meri Zindagi (1965), made him famous. He passed away last week in Mumbai as a result of a heart attack. Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Ayan Mukerji, Tanishaa Mukerji, and Samrat Mukherjee were the nieces and nephews of Rono, while Sharbani and Siddharth were his children. The eldest of the Mukherjee brothers was Rono, who also served as the head of the North Bombay Durga Puja.
