The actor claimed that they all believe that a film starring them is overdue, but they have been unable to locate the appropriate script to make their aspirations a reality. "Salman, Shah Rukh, and I would love to collaborate... We're holding out for the perfect screenplay. We have also talked about the audience wanting to see us together. The actor said, "We will certainly do it if any good story comes (our way)."

Aamir Khan, planning his own grand acting comeback with Sitaare Zameen Par, confessed that he hasn't seen Shah Rukh Khan's acting comeback movies Pathaan and Jawan so far. The actor further chose two favourite movies of both Salman (Tere Naam) and SRK. For Salman, he named Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dabangg. As for SRK, Aamir goes with the classic DDLJ (Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge) and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
