The latest speculation is that Vivek Oberoi is a part of Nitesh Tiwari's film, and could be filming his scenes with Yash already! Vivek Oberoi joins Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana

Vivek Oberoi has joined Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, if latest reports on Pinkvilla are anything to go by. The actor is speculated to be playing the role of Vidyutjihva, a demon prince from the daitya clan and the husband of Surpanakha, played by Rakul Preet Singh.

Vivek Oberoi vs Yash?

In the movie, Vivek Oberoi is predicted to fight Ravana, the demon lord of Yash (Gajakesari). The filming, according to our sources, has either started or is set to start shortly. The first chapter of the movie is said to be finished with filming, and the second chapter, Ramayana Part 2, is currently being filmed. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor portrays Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi portrays Goddess Sita, Ravi Dubey has been cast as Lord Laxman, and Sunny Deol (Gadar 2) is said to play Lord Hanuman.

Anil Kapoor and Vikrant Massey also in Ramayana?

Interestingly, there were speculations that Anil Kapoor and Vikrant Massey are also a part of Ramayana. However, a source dismissed the rumours of them being roped in for the roles of King Janaka and Prince Meghnad in the movie. Both Anil Kapoor and Vikrant Massey have been making headlines for their other projects. While Anil is a part of Hansal Mehta's Netflix film with Vijay Varma, Vikrant is prepping for Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's biopic, White. The actor is also making headlines for Dostana 2 and of course, Shanaya Kapoor's debut film, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. Thus, it is likely that the actors might indeed not be working on the project altogether.
