Aamir Khan is promoting his next film, Sitaare Zameen Par. In an interview on Zoom, the actor discussed his career, films, and private life. Honestly speaking, Aamir said that while he hasn't had much luck with marriage, the same is true with divorce.

What Aamir stated

"Humare parivar ke liye bhi ye ek cheez hain jisse hum khush nahi hain," Aamir stated during the discussion. We are not doing this cheerfully. However, there are times when we believe that our relationship may have changed due to unforeseen events. My line of thinking is that I can either lie to the world and act as though Kiran [Rao] and I are very happy and married (My family also has to deal with this, and it is not a happy situation. Our relationship has been reconsidered due to a number of factors. Therefore, I believe that I have the option of acting as if we are really joyful.

I was unsuccessful in getting married

He continued on a humorous note by saying, "Shaadi me main kamyab nahi hua hu, lekin divorce me main hua hu (I wasn't successful in marriage, but I've been successful in divorce)."

At his 60th birthday celebration in Mumbai in March of this year, Aamir revealed his girlfriend Gauri Spratt to the public. He has since been to a number of activities with Gauri. Previously, Aamir was married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, and he has three children from those marriages: Ira Khan, Junaid Khan, and Azad Rao Khan.

Sitaare Zameen Par is a comedy-drama that serves as a spiritual sequel to Aamir's 2007 smash Taare Zameen Par. The movie, which also features Genelia D'Souza, is directed by RS Prasanna, who is most known for his work on Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. The movie is a remake of the Spanish film Campeones and follows the tale of a basketball coach who is compelled to prepare a team of youngsters with various disabilities for a tournament. On June 20, the movie is set to be released in theaters.
