The most recent Kannada family drama, Karna, starring Kiran Raj, who is well-known from Kannada, as well as Bhavya Gowda and Namrata Gowda, should have been broadcast for longer than a few weeks at this point. The show, which was created by Shruti Naidu and directed by actor-filmmaker Ramesh Indira, was supposed to start on June 16, but a legal obstacle arose due to Bhavya Gowda's continuing post-Bigg Boss Kannada deal with Colors Kannada.

The reason for Karna's delay

The case was about her six-month non-compete clause contract, which prohibited Bhavya from participating in a program on a different GEC, even if the channel didn't start the lawsuit directly. There were speculations that the showrunners may look at replacing Bhavya because her contract was rumored to expire at the end of July, and the air date was indefinitely postponed as a result of the notification.

Nevertheless, the channel Zee Kannada seems to have reached some sort of agreement, since the cast is still the same and Karna has secured its air date. The first episode of the series is now available for streaming on OTTplay Premium and, by extension, on Z5. On July 3 at 8 p.m., the official broadcast will take place on Zee Kannada.

The official synopsis states that the title character is Dr. Karna, portrayed by Kiran Raj, who marries a pregnant woman for various reasons. Karna, portrayed by Bhavya, finds comfort and hope in his buddy and fellow physician Nidhi during his conflicts with the in-laws' extended family.

Karna is the most recent release from the creators of Ayyana Mana, Z5's debut original Kannada web series. The movie Premier Padmini and series like Yaare Nee Mohini, Olavina Nildana, Nammamma Sharade, and Mahadevi are among Ramesh Indira's most well-known works. However, to Kannada viewers, he is Soma, the horrible antagonist of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello.
