Following his recent double lung transplant, former UFC sensation Ben Askren released a video on Wednesday with an update on his health. He said in the video that during his 45 days in a coma, he lost 50 pounds.

The 40-year-old Mixed Martial Artist stated in the video, which was taken while Askren was in the hospital bed, that his current weight is 147 pounds, which is about 67 kilograms. According to records, the Cedar Rapids, Iowa native weighed 77 kg, or about 170 pounds, prior to his surgery.

In the video, Ben Askern stated, "Yesterday I was actually on a scale and I was weighing 147 pounds. It was about 50 pounds in 45 days." Thus, my friend, it was a battle. I can't recall the majority of it.
