X&Y Teaser Out Now – D Satya Prakash Explores the Feelings of a Soul Yet to Be Born

Although D Satya Prakash has only made three films as a filmmaker, he has already received national and state recognition, none of which helped him when he first conceived the idea for his most recent movie, X&Y, which will be released in theaters on June 26. Satya Prakash chose to gather all available resources and create it himself after finding no additional doors to knock on. In addition to serving as director and producer, he soon had to assume a third responsibility: playing one of the main roles. This choice was made in response to financial limitations, but also because the part didn't really require a star.

The subject of Rama Rama Re creator Satya's films has remained a closely guarded secret, but just three weeks before the premiere, he has given a teaser and spoken with OTTplay about it. Satya's character is seen in the teaser performing CPR on a dead man, who eventually comes back to life, but not as a result of the former's actions. With the movie, what is Satya attempting to convey?

'X&Y is a story of an unborn soul trying to make sense of the world'

"We've watched movies about reincarnation, ghosts, and souls in Yamaloka, but we haven't seen a film about a soul that hasn't yet left a footprint on the planet. In this movie, I've actually discussed the X and Y chromosomes. We frequently discuss protecting the environment in order to improve the lives of future generations, but we don't take many concrete steps to do so. We are just concerned with our present welfare; nobody truly considers the future generation. The heart of the film is the question of whether the X and Y chromosomes are conscious of events in the outside world.

Satya claims that although the issue is highly philosophical, he has portrayed it as a happy tale. "I have made an effort to present it in the most enjoyable way possible, with intense emotions towards the very conclusion. This is the sort of film that will resonate with viewers of all ages," he claims. Satya is an auto-rikshaw driver in the movie who utilizes his little car as an ambulance service.

“My character goes around town transporting people who’ve been in accidents to hospitals and that too, free of cost. The dead body in the teaser, is one such person that I encounter and the story progresses when human emotions and the emotions of a person who is yet to born intersect,” explains Satya, adding that while it sounds complicated, the film is not like that and will be enjoyable for all.
