It's been a while since Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda had a big hit in his career. His last two movies, The Family Star and Liger, were the worst failures of his career. Therefore, he took a vacation and accepted a movie called Kingdom, which was produced by Gautam Tinnanuri, the filmmaker of Jersey.

Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom, according to Anirudh, will be a huge success.

After two and a half years of production, the action drama is scheduled to be released on July 31, 2025. The promotions have been sped up by the producers, and the post-production work is moving quickly.

Renowned filmmaker Naga Vamsi directed Kingdom. In an interview, he said that the music composer Anirudh phoned him after seeing the movie and told him that Kingdom would be a big hit at the box office.

The noted producer also added that Generally, Anirudh is the first one to watch the film in the post-production stages, and whenever he signals that a film will be a hit, it ends up being a smash hit at the box office and he did the same with their earlier production, Jersey featuring Nani as the main lead.

Two songs that have been released have caught the imagination of one and all. The film has mostly been shot in Sri Lanka, and producer Naga Vamsi says that Anirudh’s background score has elevated the film to another level. Kingdom is a dark action drama that has Bhagyashree Bose as the female lead. This is the first time she has been roped in to romance Vijay Deverakonda.

Few people are aware that Kingdom is a reincarnation tale in which Vijay Deverakonda plays two roles. The promos have already made it clear that Satyadev is portraying his sibling. Kingdom seems to share the same strong emotions as Gowtam Tinnanuri, who is well-known for them.

In his first role as a police officer, Vijay Deverakonda will play a cop who undertakes a unique mission to save his brother. The fundamental tale of Kingdom is about how all of this happens. The digital rights to Kingdom were purchased by Netflix for a significant amount of money. The Kingdom will be published in two volumes.
