Prime Housefull 5 will debut on Prime Video following its theatrical release on June 6, 2025. This is the fifth chapter in the Housefull series. The Tarun Mansukhani–directed, Warda Nadiadwala–produced, and Firuzi Khan–starred comedic thriller will be accessible on the OTT platform after its theatrical run.

The combination of slapstick humor and a murder investigation

This movie departs from the Housefull flicks by introducing a murder mystery plot to the series' signature slapstick comedy. This mystery, set on a luxury cruise, is focused on the murder of a billionaire. The murder investigation takes a surprising turn as Akshay Kumar's character teams up with other passengers, initiating a comical chain reaction. Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff, who play the detectives in the case, add to the suspense.

break Housefull 5 will be a breakthrough for commercial Hindi films with its two unique versions, Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B, each having its own murderer and climax. Thirty years ago, Sajid Nadiadwala conceived of the concept of a movie with two endings in order to appeal to new viewers and maintain the interest of existing ones. Following certain cuts, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has classified all versions of the picture as U/A.

An all-star ensemble cast

The cast is a mix of well-known and lesser-known individuals. In addition to Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Dino Morea, Shreyas Talpade, Chunky Pandey, and Johnny Lever, the movie stars Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. The female actors include Soundarya Sharma, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangada Singh, Nargis Fakhri, and Jacqueline Fernandez. Nikitin Dheer and Nana Patekar are also members of the cast.

The movie's release date, which was first planned for Diwali 2024, has been moved to June 2025. The new date will result in the film having a clearer run throughout the summer box office season.

Closer to the digital premiere, Prime Video will reveal the official streaming date later this year.
