A seventh-grader attempts to win over his classmates and outsmart his teacher and rivals by coming up with amusing schemes. The movie's primary theme is the funny repercussions of this. In the movie, Saiju Kurup, Anand Manmadhan, and Johny Antony have additional major roles.

In Malayalam, the term "candidate Sreekuttan" refers to Sreekuttan. Sreerang Shine portrays the lead character, Sreekuttan. The film also beautifully captures the happenings of a rural school, the friendships between children, and the joyous times.

The supporting cast includes Anand, Sruthy Suresh, Jibin Gopinath, Ajisha, Kannan Nayar, Santhosh Venjaramood, Ramachandran Nair, Gibin Gopinath, Amal Krishna, and Sreenath Babu. The film was written by Vinesh, Kailash S. Bhavan, Anand Manmadhan, and Murali Krishnan. Vinesh Viswanath's directorial debut was with this picture.
