The forthcoming mythical horror picture is titled Maa. The creators of the popular 2024 film Shaitaan are behind this one, which features Kajol in the main role. Following the popularity of the trailer, the producers released the movie's debut song, "Humnava," today, June 10. The song takes listeners on an emotional and heartfelt voyage of love.

Humnava releases the Maa song

The first song from the Maa film, named Humnava, has been released by T-Series. The music video, which is sung by Shreya Ghoshal with Jubin Nautiyal adding backup vocals, depicts Kajol's passionate and heartfelt love connection with her daughter, excluding her husband. Without the mothers, a kid would find the world lacking, and the video is a wonderful tribute to them. Kajol is seen in the music video spending quality time with her daughter and reflecting on the wonderful moments she shared with her husband.

The music is composed by Rocky Mehr Bano Khanna - Shiv Aneeta Malhotra. The lyrics are done by Manoj Prema Muntashir Shukla while music is arranged by Vaibhav Pani. 

Fans react to Humnava song

Reacting to the song, one fan said, "Kajol + Jubin + Shreya = Magic on loop." Another commented, "First time in jubin’s voice and now in Shreya's voice so relaxing and soothing."

"Kajol my god!!" another fan said. She is the ideal illustration of a healthy woman aging well! She still seems so young and genuine. One commenter wrote, "This is breaking new ground, new record will be set. The first line of the song is so comforting to hear, like Shreya hit like for shreya."

About Maa

Maa, starring Kajol, is a mythological horror film where a mother fights demonic forces to save her daughter from a haunted place. The story revolves around a mother and daughter who find themselves in a dangerous forest where a demon seeks the girls' blood. Kajol's character, a mother's protector, must use supernatural powers to fight against evil entities and protect her child. The film explores the eternal struggle between good and evil, delivering spine-chilling suspense and intense drama.

Apart from Kajol, Indranil Sengupta, Ronit Roy, and Jitin Gulati will be seen in important roles in the film. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, and Kumar Mangat Pathak, and is presented by Jio Studios in association with Devgn Films.

Maa is a pan-India release and will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali. The film will be out on Netflix after its theatrical run. Meanwhile, Maa will hit theatres on June 27, 2025.
