According to the Sacnilk report, DD Next Level has garnered Rs. 21 crore globally at the box office, with Rs. 18 crore coming from India. The movie got mixed reviews when it came out. It also went up against Maaman, which starred Soori and was released in theaters the same day.

DD Next Level, which is a standalone picture in the Dhilluku Dhuddu series, centers on a film reviewer who publishes his reviews on YouTube. When he is invited to a private screening, he discovers that a malevolent ghost has plotted to ensnare him and his family in a movie. He now only has until the movie ends to rescue his family, who are playing the roles in the script. In addition to Santhanam, the movie stars well-known actors like Geethika, Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Nizhalgal Ravi, Kasthuri, Redin Kingsley, Yashika Anand, Rajendran, and Maran.

Under his banner, The Show People, filmmaker S. Prem Anand and actor Arya, who has collaborated with Santhanam, have produced DD Next Level. The film was made by Niharika Entertainment. Dipak Kumar Padhy handled the cinematography, while the music was scored using the ofRO method by the technical crew. The editor is Barath Vikraman.
