Prior to the July 4, 2025, premiere of Abhishek Bachchan's Kaalidhar Laapata on OTTplay Premium and ZEE5, you should be aware that it is a Hindi version of the critically acclaimed 2019 Tamil film Karuppu Durai (KD). But this is not Bollywood's first time. Hindi blockbusters like Aamir Khan's Ghajini and Ajay Devgn's the Singham series have frequently taken inspiration from the great narrative of Tamil cinema. A man is overtaken by three spirits in the tale, which compel him to behave like a woman. The gloomy history of injustice, murder, and retribution of the spirit is revealed as his mother seeks assistance from an exorcist.

Theri

Varun Dhawan starred in the 2024 Hindi remake of Thalapathy Vijay's 2016 smash hit Tamil action drama, Baby John. Police officer Vijaya Kumar is the subject of the film, who is attempting to hide in order to protect his young daughter, but when her life is in danger from a gang of vicious criminals, Vijaya is compelled to confront his shady past and face the threat head on.
