Nimma Vasthugalige Neeve Javaabdaararu, which premiered in theaters on January 10, 2025, together with Choo Mantar, received favorable word of mouth but had difficulties with footfalls and theater retention. Despite receiving positive reviews, the Keshav Moorthy-directed crime drama anthology—which features three distinct narratives about various forms of theft and stars Prasanna Shetty, Apoorva Bharadwaj, Govind Madhusudan, Dileep Raj, and Shilpa Manjunath, among others—did not secure an OTT agreement right away.

Coming to Nimma Vasthugalige Neeve Javaabdaararu....
However, that has now changed. The most recent reports indicate that Nimma Vasthugalige Neeve Javaabdaararu has a streaming partner. Sun Network has acquired the movie, and it will start streaming on Sun NXT on June 27, 2025. After Gana, Rakshasa, and Vidyapati, which, like Laughing Buddha, first appeared on Prime Video before being released on Sun NXT, Nimma Vasthugalige Neeve Javaabdaararu is just the fourth film of 2025 to arrive on the site.
| TITLE | Nimma Vasthugalige Neeve Javaabdaararu |
| DIRECTOR | Keshav Moorthy |
| CAST | Dileep Raj, Prasanna Shetty, Govind Madhusudan, Apoorva |
| STREAMING PLATFORM | Sun NXT |
| STREAMING DATE | June 27, 2025 |
The movie begins with a socially awkward salesman named Inayat (Prasanna) who has OCD and steals bikes of a specific brand to make ends meet. The film is made up of three unrelated stories. The focus of this chapter is on his modus operandi. The story then shifts to two young kleptomaniacs who steal for pleasure. This tale is the lightest of the three and stars Apoorva and Govind.
The third, more involved tale centers on the honeytrap scheme run by Dileep Raj, who plays the lead role. The plot takes up the whole second half of the movie, with Dileep's character going after immoral individuals he thinks deserve what is coming to them. The complete absence of any hint of judgment in the narrative is notable in all three tales.
Out of slightly over 100 movies released in the first half of the year, fewer than 20% have so far appeared on OTT platforms. Sun and Prime Video are the only ones that have thus far accepted them. Max was the last Kannada movie to be released on Zee5.
