On the auspicious occasion of Rama Navami, Aha unveiled a captivating documentary feature titled Rama Ayodhya, offering viewers a deep dive into the legend of Lord Rama. The documentary, with a runtime of 94 minutes, is also available for streaming on OTTplay Premium.

"Experience Rama Ayodhya, a documentary that delves into the ancient city of Ayodhya, intricately linking its essence to the 16 virtues of Lord Rama as depicted in the Valmiki Ramayana," reads the official synopsis, promising viewers an enlightening exploration of the sacred city's significance.

Rama Ayodhya is based on a book written by writer Satyakashi Bhargava, and the documentary features Bhargava himself as the narrator, guiding viewers through the streets of Ayodhya. Bhargava's insightful commentary sheds light on the deep-rooted beliefs and traditions surrounding the worship of Lord Rama.

The city of Ayodhya

Earlier this year, the city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh made international headlines following the grand opening of the newly built Lord Rama temple. Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the religious event, which saw the consecration of the Ram Mandir . The 'pran pratishtha' event is considered an act of transforming an idol into a deity, which assumes the divine power of accepting prayers and giving blessings.

Ayodhya is also believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama and has provided the background for the Indian mythological epic Ramayana.

In the documentary, Satyakashi Bhargava seems to lead viewers through the streets of Ayodhya and to its important religious places that hold great significance for believers. 

Satyakashi Bhargava earlier promised that Rama Ayodhya would showcase the important qualities of Lord Rama. "This documentary is going to be very special, and I am sure the Telugu audience will love it", said Bhargava, who is an expert in Ramayana. 

 "We have narrated the documentary in such a simple manner that people from all age groups can watch it without any doubts," he added.
