The movie's director is Jithin Isaac Thomas. He previously helmed Attention Please, which starred Vishnu Govindan in the title role, before helming the short work "Pra Thu Mu" in Freedom Fight. His most recent picture, Rekha, was lauded for its topic and acting.

The plot of Pattth centers on Unni, a struggling film editor, who is creating a travel blog that features a traditional Kenyan tribal song. Upon hearing the music, Unni's grandmother starts to sing along, claiming to be acquainted with it. Unni and his girlfriend Anupama are curious about his grandma's song, which they post on social media. They decided to make a documentary about the song's origins after seeing from the comments that it was well-known. During their trip around Kerala, they speak with individuals from all walks of life who claim to be familiar with the song. The film then details how the enigma surrounding the song increases with each new connection they forge.

The cast includes Divakaran Vishnumangalam, Rajan C R, Jitheesh Raichel Samuel, Prabhakaran Velur, Shelvi Pollachi, Surya S Kurup, Satheesh P Babu, Benny John, Champan Binu, Jiji Jogy, Sanju Madhav, Salu K Thomas, and Avinash Jayasree, as well as M Kethi, Gauthami Lekshmi Gopan, Ashik Safiya Aboobakker, and Cheriyakaalan, Jasmine Kavya.
