Netflix made a big splash at its Tudum event with the first teaser for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. This is the third movie in Rian Johnson’s sharp and stylish mystery series. It’s set to hit screens on December 12, 2025, and fans can look forward to seeing Daniel Craig return as the clever Southern detective Benoit Blanc. After the chaos of high-society secrets in Knives Out (2019) and the sunny lies of Glass Onion (2022), this new installment promises a darker, more dangerous case for Blanc. The teaser ends with the line: “The Knives Cometh Out Soon,” teasing a story that might be his toughest yet.

The cast is packed with big names like Josh O’Connor, Josh Brolin, Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church. With this much star power, every character could be a suspect or steal the scene.
