Anuraj Manohar directed the picture, which is set to have its highly anticipated OTT debut shortly on SonyLiv and OTTplay Premium. The Tovino Thomas-led Malayalam film generated this much money in theaters prior to its massive OTT release.

The Malayalam film Narivetta had a theatrical release on May 23, 2025, and made Rs 1.65 crore on its first day. Narivetta's cumulative global box office receipts are 29.31 crore, which is just under the 30-crore barrier. The movie has consistently made more than one crore in its first five days at the box office, with the day three earnings exceeding two crore rupees.

Tovino Thomas, who plays the main role in Narivetta, earned critical acclaim for his realistic portrayal of a police officer in Wayanad who struggles with external forces and his conscience in the middle of a tribal demonstration. In the movie, which follows the events after the cops halt the tribal demonstration for land distribution, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Cheran portray other significant police officers.

Even with limited screen time, Arya Salim makes a mark as the activist Shanthi. Sofiya is viewed by Priyamvada Krishnan as Varghese's love interest. The supporting cast also includes Pranav Teophine, Nandhu, and Prasanth Madhavan. Shahi Kabir, a well-known writer and filmmaker who directed Ronth not long ago, is also present.

OTT Narivetta

From July 11, 2025, you may watch Narivetta on SonyLiv through OTTplay Premium. Additionally, the Malayalam movie will be available for streaming in Telugu and other Hindi dialects. The movie, which has received positive reviews, is anticipated to become more popular when it makes its digital debut this week.

Narivetta was released in theaters alongside Detective Ujjwalan, which was led by Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Azadi, which was directed by Sreenath Bhasi. Azadi has already had its digital debut and may now be streamed via OTTplay Premium.
