The makers of the Malayalam film, Chotta Mumbai, have announced that it would have a theatrical re-release in the UK and Europe soon. However, an exact date has not been revealed.

It stands to reason that the movie will be playing in theaters in these nations by next week. Similar to those in Kerala, it is expected that there will be less performances. For the actor's fans, who have been repeatedly asking on social media about the movie's re-release outside of India, this is good news. The humorous action drama is being celebrated by the actor's fans and film enthusiasts in theaters across the state and the country.

The public here has responded positively to the release of the 4K remastered version. Despite being released in the same week as other movies like Saiju Kurup's Written & Directed by God and Asif Ali's Abhyanthara Kuttavali, Chotta Mumbai has received rave reviews throughout the state. Most of them are unable to contain their excitement for a comedy action drama starring an 18-year-old. Many people have noted that even after all these years, the humorous scenes in this film are still amusing.

Others have voiced their delight at the opportunity to revisit their first-day-of-school memories from when they were 18 years old. Numerous individuals have posted videos of cinema patrons dancing to the songs in theaters, showing their delight at seeing Thala and his Chotta Mumbai crew again.

Mohanlal plays the lead role of Vasco, also known as Thala, in Anwar Rasheed's film, along with a group of his useless pals. Chotta Mumbai also features significant performances by Bhavana, Jagathy Sreekumar, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saikumar, Bijukuttan, Manikuttan, and Siddique. Fans of the actor now consider the action movie, which performed well in theaters in 2007, to be a cult classic. Chotta Mumbai may be streamed on OTTplay Premium and Sun NXT.
