One of the Malayalam movies that will be released in theaters this year is Mohanlal's Udayananu Tharam. Many people still return to the film, which Rosshan Andrrews directed, for its plot and performances.

The re-release date of Udayan

The comedy-drama, which was a box office hit in 2005, will be back in theaters on June 20. The Lucifer star's fans and Malayalam film enthusiasts are likely to enjoy it wholeheartedly once again. Another well-known film starring Mohanlal, Chotta Mumbai, was scheduled to be released in theaters on May 21. But it was said that the movie's re-release was postponed by the picture's popularity in cinemas. Only a few movies, such as Devadoothan, were re-released in 4K last year, and the public reacted well.

It's all about Udayananu Tharam

With Mohanlal playing the main character, this smash hit is one of the best Malayalam films ever produced, with cinema and the effort that goes into making it the focus. The movie, which was written by Sreenivasan, marked Rosshan Andrews' debut as a director. The actor also played the well-known role of Rajappan, who later became known as the celebrity Saroj Kumar, which resulted in several amusing moments in the film. In Udayananu Tharam, which also featured prominent roles for Meena, Jagathy Sreekumar, Salimkumar, Mukesh, Bhavana, and Cochin Haneefa, Manorama Max is streaming.

This humorous play depicts the obstacles faced by Udayabhanu, an assistant director aspiring to be a director. But in order to play the protagonist in a movie and become Saroj Kumar, the celebrity, Rajappan Thengamoodu, a wannabe actor and crafty friend, sabotages his plans by stealing his script. However, Udayabhanu eventually manages to produce a film with him, which results in several challenges for both of them. The film's central theme is whether Saroj Kumar will benefit from his errors and give Udayabhanu the credit he is due.

In the Udayananu Tharam spin-off Padmasree Bharat Dr Saroj Kumar, Sreenivasan reprises his role as Saroj Kumar.
