In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu, is a spiritual sequel to the filmmaker's 2007 film, Life in a... Metro. The movie, which features Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sensharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta, is set to hit theaters on July 4. The movie's OTT companion has already been announced in advance.

Metro...In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu, will be released in theaters on July 4. Netflix will offer the movie for streaming after its theatrical release concludes. Nevertheless, the date of the OTT release is still a secret.

According to the OTTplay assessment of the movie, it is a genuine effort to portray a tale in which love and hope triumph, and the world is so full of beauty that it can drown out the surrounding cacophony.

"People meet, stories collide, sparks fly, and Anurag Basu makes sure he has a lot more new to offer than the last time," it further read. 

Metro...In Dino plot

Subway... Dino tells related stories about modern love, where various individuals experience relationships, breakups, and second chances. The film centers on four love relationships: Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sensharma and Pankaj Tripathi, and Anupam Kher and Neena. They confront the challenges of contemporary life while discovering their love for one another. The film examines the complexities of contemporary relationships by exploring topics like dedication, betrayal, and self-discovery.

Metro... The concept for Dino was initially conceived by Irrfan Khan.

In the 2007 movie Life in a... Metro, one of the main characters was portrayed by the late actor Irrfan Khan. Anurag Basu just said that Irrfan proposed the idea of a sequel to the film.

"Irrfan and I were discussing a sequel to Life In A Metro after Jagga Jasoos," Basu told News18. He actually gave me the idea to start working on it. "Metro 2 banaate hai," he told me, but he didn't reveal the details until much later, not right after the first film.
