One of the most anticipated Telugu movies in recent memory, Kingdom, is scheduled to be released on July 31, 2025. In order to save his film career, Vijay Deverakonda must play the protagonist and have a smash at all costs. Kingdom, which will be released in two parts, is directed by Gautam Tinnanuri, well known from Jersey. The first component is finished and produced in enormous quantities.

Despite the fact that Vijay Deverakonda's appeal has diminished significantly as a result of consecutive failures, the producers did not hesitate to make a sizable investment in this picture. Sitara Entertainments financed the picture, and producer Naga Vamsi claims to have spent about ₹130 crore on Kingdom's production.

Netflix has grabbed the digital rights for the film for a fancy price, and a chunk of the film’s budget has been recovered through these rights. Already, Kingdom has received an ‘A’ certificate and has a runtime of 2 hours 43 minutes. 

Bhagyashree Borse plays the female lead in this film, and this is the first time she has been paired opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Popular hero Satya Dev also plays a key role in this film, appearing as Vijay Deverakonda’s brother. On the other hand, Vijay will be seen as a police constable who goes on a mission to Sri Lanka to bring back his brother.

Although Jersey and other movies by Gautham Tinnanuri are known for their emotional narration, this is his first attempt at producing an action drama. With superb music by Anirudh, Kingdom has been extensively shot in Sri Lanka. Thus far, three songs from the movie have been released, and they have all become smash hits.

Vijay Deverakonda will be seen in multiple looks in this film, but his bald look has gone viral across the globe. Vijay is a terrific actor, and all he needs is a solid script to make a comeback. Will Kingdom be that film that brings him back with a bang? Let’s wait and watch.
