Maalik box office collection Day 1: Today, July 11, saw the release of Rajkummar Rao's gangster thriller in cinemas. The movie could not have resonated as much with viewers, even though fans were delighted to see the actor in a part that broke with his typical roles. The movie got off to a sluggish start at the box office, earning less money on its first day than his prior film, Bhool Chuk Maaf.

Maalik's box office success

Maalik's Day 1 earnings of ₹3.48 crore, as reported by the trade monitoring website Sacnilk, are significantly lower than those of Bhool Chuk Maaf, which earned ₹7 crore on its first day. Additionally, the profits are less than those of John Abraham's The Diplomat, which earned ₹4 crore on its first day.

But despite the disappointing start, the movie did better than Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor's romance drama Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, which only made ₹32 lakh at the box office. The Bollywood debut of Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, is seen in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, which was written by Mansi Bagla and directed by Santosh Singh.

Regarding Maalik

The movie, which stars Rajkummar Rao in the title role alongside Prosenjit Chatterjee and Manushi Chhillar, was directed by Pulkit and produced by Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakramani. Saurabh Sachdeva, Saurabh Shukla, Anshumaan Pushkar, Swanand Kirkire, Rajendra Gupta, and Baljinder Kaur also have important parts in the ensemble. The critics gave the movie a mixed reaction. Many people were disappointed by the film's predictable plot, despite praising Rao's acting.

Despite its flaws, Maalik stands tall, much like its hero, punching above its weight thanks to Rao's fiery energy, according to a review in the Hindustan Times. Maalik may work for you if you like seeing a familiar tale with additional flair and spice. And who knows, this saga might soar higher and shout even louder with a more close sequel."
