Starring Ammy Virk with Nimrat Khaira and two versions of Sargun Mehta, Saunkan Saunkanay 2 is the story of him falling in love with a firang (Monica Bellucci from Italy) who turns desi. This woman is also played by Sargun Mehta, thus making their interaction twice interesting and fun.

For the uninitiated, Saunkan Saunkne was the story of how Ammy's Nirmal got married to sisters Naseeb and Kirna (played by Sargun and Nimrat) accidentally. This time around, Nirmal gets married a second time, thus bringing more chaos into their lives. Now, he has three wives, all of whom are constantly fighting with him for his attention.
