One of the year's most awaited releases is Sekhar Kammula's Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna. After 19 scenes were removed from the original cut, reducing the film by 13 minutes and 41 seconds, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has now approved the pan-India release. The CBFC has awarded Kuberaa a UA certification.

Kuberaa's endorsement

The CBFC's official X account for the movie posted a message emphasizing that it had been given a UA rating by the UA. "181 minutes of drama, emotion, love, greed, excitement, and everything in between! Kuberaa - A complete U/A social drama that promises a fresh cinematic experience," the post's caption stated.

The new certification for the movie, as provided by the CBFC, is now available on X (previously Twitter). The Andhra Box Office post stated that the film had 19 scenes ordered to be cut. The majority of the main cast, including Dhanush, Rashmika, and Jim Sarbh, appear in the images that have been requested to be removed. Consequently, Kuberaa has undergone a reduction of 13 minutes and 41 seconds.

Concerning Kuberaa

Since this is Dhanush's first Telugu picture and Sekhar's second Tamil film following Anaamika, expectations are high for it. Nagarjuna is the primary adversary, while Dhanush portrays a beggar who questions the system's current state. The movie's trailer debuted a few days ago and has already garnered excitement from viewers, notably for Dhanush's acting. Even though Rashmika's character maintains the opposite, it appears that Dhanush's character trusts her. Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao of Amigos Creations are producing Kuberaa, which is expected to hit theaters on June 20.
