The cast and crew details for the forthcoming Malayalam film, Kattalan, have been updated by its producers in recent weeks. It has now been established that Telugu actor Raj Tirandasu and Shon Joy will have significant parts in the film, which is headlined by Antony Varghese Pepe. Raj is well-known for his role as the bad guy in Allu Arjun's Pushpa, while Shon Joy became famous with Alappuzha Gymkhana, which is currently available on OTTplay Premium and Sony LIV.

Changes to the Kattalan cast

Based on ivory hunting and power dynamics, the producers just announced that Baby Jean, Siddique, Jagadish, and Rajisha Vijayan are also members of Kattalan. The movie also features Telugu star Sunil and Marco's antagonist Kabir Duhan Singh. Hanan Shah, a popular playback vocalist and vlogger, is also expected to make his acting debut in the film, which is set for release later this year. His well-known tune, Chirapunji Mazhayath, is now trending on social media.

Updates from Kattalan's crew

The poster depicts an elephant using its trunk to catch a hunter who had severed one of its tusks. Additionally, the producers have stated that Kattalan will be shown in theaters in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, in addition to Malayalam. Pepe's character poster and a statement on the movie's theatrical debut are expected from the producers by fans of the Chaaver actor shortly.

The film is being made by Shareef Muhammad under the banner of Cubes Entertainments. Unni Mukundan's Marco, which is now available on OTTplay Premium and Sony LIV, was this production company's most recent venture. The filmmakers also revealed that B Ajaneesh Loknath, best known for his work in Kantara, will be writing the background music and soundtrack for Kattalan. His music for Kannada films like Kirik Party and Bagheera is well-known. Recent meetings between the Kattalan crew and renowned stuntman Kecha Khamphakdee fueled rumors that he would be involved in this highly anticipated Malayalam film.
